Honours and Awards for Ontarians

Recognizing those who contribute to our communities

Without question, our most precious resource found in Algoma-Manitoulin is our talented, generous people who truly care for this land and for the welfare of others around them. These special individuals in all of our communities are an eternal source of strength and vitality.  We are blessed with leaders who make valuable contributions in the arts, social justice, volunteerism, environmental protection, agriculture, scientific research, and countless other areas.

It is important to acknowledge and celebrate the hard work, selfless dedication and contribution that these people offer to our communities, making Algoma-Manitoulin a better place to live.
